Edwin Giesbers
Edwin Giesbers was born in 1967 in Arnhem, the Netherlands.
In his early childhood, he spent a lot of time outdoors exploring nature around his home. At an age of 16 he took up photography. The photography of nature and wildlife started as a hobby but changed into a wonderful profession. Edwin produced complete picture stories for several magazines in The Netherlands and had his work published in magazines in Belgium, England, Germany, France, Italy, Sweden and the USA. He has captured images in some of the most extreme locations on earth, from Antarctica to Borneo, but Holland is considered as his main working area.
Several of Edwin Giesbers' photographs have been rewarded with international awards from the most important contests worldwide, like the BG Wildlife Photographer of the Year, GDT European Photographer of the Year, Glanzlichter and Natures Best.
