As a nature photographer Ole Jørgen Liodden wants to express nature’s “soul”. He likes to be a free man, photographing some of the most exciting places in the world, expressing and creating his own impressions.
“My favourite species are owls and seabirds, especially in action, in flight. Their shape, behaviour and way of living are all very interesting”.
Ole Jørgen Liodden lives in his beloved Valdres, Norway surrounded by mountains, forests and great wildlife! His fascination for nature has led him to many interesting photo expeditions, for example to remote Arctic and Antarctic areas. Many of these expeditions are led by Ole Jørgen himself. Especially Svalbard is one of the favourite places with at least one expedition each year. He travels with other nature photographers and collaborates with them in determining where they will go and when. But…… safety, weather, wind, ice and light conditions will eventually “decide” where and when to navigate the vessel…….
Ole Jørgen Liodden also leads different classes and workshops in nature photography in Norway and published several great books!
