From the straight ahead to the sublime, by moonlight, candlelight, or whatever else is available, Jeff looks for the unusual in the obvious. He seeks to make striking images that aren’t seen, but created in the camera over time.
Though his background is in technology, great photography is more than just camera settings. There is an essence to all things, captured by shooting from the heart, as unobtrusively as possible. Intimate, personal photos with soul and emotion, the true essence and spirit of a person or place - this is what he photographs. Sometimes it is beautiful, other times not. Patience and time are fundamental, and slow is good.
A willingness to experiment and reach beyond are the key to expanding the boundaries of the photographic realm in Jeff's world. And you can never have too much color.
